Ozzi Heat isn't working properly, here are the top three reasons to consider and troubleshoot:

Power Issues:

Ensure the Ozzi Heat is plugged into a working outlet. Check if the outlet is functioning by plugging in another device. Reset any tripped circuit breakers, and inspect the power cord for any damage or disconnections.

Operational Error:

Confirm that the heater is switched on and set to the correct temperature. Review the user manual to ensure that all operating instructions are correctly followed, such as setting the timer or adjusting the thermostat.

How to Use Your Ozzi Heat Heater

Step 1: Unpack and Place Your Heater

Carefully unpack your Ozzi Heat from its box. Place the heater on a stable, flat surface away from flammable materials such as curtains or bedding. Ensure it's not directly on or against soft surfaces like carpets or rugs which could block the air intake or heat outlets.

Step 2: Plug-In

Plug the Ozzi Heat into a suitable power outlet. Make sure the outlet is functional and the plug fits securely.

Step 3: Power On

Press the power button to turn on your Ozzi Heat. This button is typically located on the top or side of the unit.

Step 4: Set Your Desired Temperature

Adjust the temperature settings according to your comfort. The Ozzi Heat comes with customizable heat settings which can be modified using a dial or buttons on the unit.

Step 5: Optional Timer and Safety Features

With the timer function, you can set it to automatically turn off after a certain period. This is especially useful if you want to fall asleep without worrying about turning it off later. Familiarize yourself with the safety features such as the auto shut-off timer and safety tilt switch, which automatically powers down the heater in case it tips over.

Step 6: Enjoy the Warmth

Once set, your Ozzi Heat will quickly begin to warm the room. It typically takes about two minutes to start feeling the warmth. Adjust the settings as necessary to maintain your desired comfort level.

Step 7: Turn Off

When you are done using the heater, press the power button to turn it off. For safety and energy conservation, unplug the unit when it is not in use for extended periods.

SET-UP AND OPERATION:

  • Make sure that the heater is switched off(O pushed in), then plug it into a correctly functioning socket.
  • Now set the main switch to I (on); the heater is not on standby and the indicator light (7) lights up.
  • Switch on the heater by pressing the PN/STANDBY BUTTON.
  • After switching in by means of the main switch., the thermostat is on the maximum 30°. Press the “Temperature lower” button to set the desired temperature ( minimum 15°). With the “Temperature Higher” Button you can higher the set temperature afterwards. The display shows the set temperature.
  • The thermostat will now regulate the heater to turn on if the temperature is too low and off once the desired temperature is reached.
  • Press Temp + and Temp – at the same time to speed up the fan or to slow it down. The display shows for a memento flashing what you have set: LL= low, HH= high.
  • Press the timer button to set the timer. The display changes from degrees to hours. Hold in button to enter more hours, up to a maximum of 12.

If you set the timer while the heater is on, you set the number of hours after which the heater turns itself off. To switch off the heater you must first set it to standby by pressing the ON/standby button. The heater will stop heating, but the fan cools for another 60 seconds (see display) before switching off. You can then use the main switch to turn off the heater properly (O press). Never leave the plug in the socket when the heater is not in use.

SAFETY FEATURES

In case of internal; overheating, the overheating safeguard will switch the heater off. This may occur if the heater cannot give off enough heat or if it cannot draw in enough fresh air. As mentioned above, this is generally caused by (partially) covering the heater obstructing the air intake and/ or outlet grills, or installing the heater too close to a wall or something similar. When the overheating safeguard switches the heater off, you need to turn the switch to the “O position” (off) and remove the heater from the socket. Allow the heater to cool down and make sure that whatever caused the overheating is removed or amended. The heater can then be reused. If the problem persists or if you cannot find an obvious cause for the overheating, turn the heater off immediately and take the plug out of the socket.
